Last week I talked about graduation. What about the rest of you whose graduation date is a little farther off? What can help you reach your graduation date a little faster? Summer classes.
Enrollment for summer classes is now open, and classes start June 6. You can enroll now through the start of classes, provided space is available. Undergrads can take up to nine hours in the summer. For grad students, it is recommended they take three hours over the summer because summer is a condensed 8-week semester, which moves twice as fast as the 16-week spring and fall semesters.
A lot of you probably think of summer as a time off from school. But think of it this way: if an undergrad takes nine hours over the summer for four years, that adds up to 36 hours. You would be three semesters closer to graduation by taking summer classes.
