I’d like to introduce you to the newest member of the CLS recruitment team – Emily Dukes. Emily is the new OU-Tulsa Admissions & Recruitment Specialist, so she works up at the Schusterman Center. Emily splits her time 50/50 between CLS and the rest of OU-Tulsa’s programs.
Emily spent three days here in Norman last week learning about CLS and getting to know some of us here at the CLS headquarters, and I can tell you that she is a blast to be around!
Emily is very familiar with the Tulsa area, having grown up in Broken Arrow. She graduated from Broken Arrow High School, where she played varsity basketball and volleyball. Although she received her undergrad degree from that school in Stillwater, she earned her master of human relations at OU-Tulsa.
During grad school, Emily worked as a graduate research assistant in the Human Relations Department. She was also active in student government at OU-Tulsa. Before working at OU-Tulsa, Emily was with the Oklahoma Center for Community and Justice, a human relations organization.
She enjoys volunteering in the Tulsa nonprofit community, and she said she is excited to return to the OU-Tulsa community after an incredible experience as a grad student.
I know I can speak on behalf of the entire College of Liberal Studies and say that we are extremely happy to welcome Emily to our team.
