Canvas support buttonAre you having a problem with a class? If so, you may get help faster by using the Canvas support button.

Using the support button in addition to contacting your instructor notifies the OU College of Liberal Studies team directly that you’re having issues.

“The support button will help the student get CLS help and not necessarily OU IT help, which would benefit them by getting direct answers to their problems and not the standard answers from OU IT,” said John Boekenoogen, CLS director of academic technology.

When you click the button, a menu pulls up allowing you to enter your personal information, as well your issue. Be sure to list the course name, number and section, as well as detailed information about your problem, in the description box.

Boekenoogen also encourages students to use the resource button.

He said answers to most questions can be found on the resource page, and clicking on the resource button will give students a quick reference and trouble-shooting answer without having to wait on anyone.

Log into Canvas to try it out or see more resources for CLS students.
