Sadly longtime CLS staff member, Sheila Gibson, lost her home in the Cleveland County wildfire last weekend.  Sheila and her husband Chuck, were finally allowed back into the area to find that, indeed, everything was gone.  Not only did they lose their home of 31 years, along with the outbuildings and all belongings, but their two sweet Daschunds, Sadie and Sandy, were also killed in the fire.  The pictures of the area look like a burned out war zone, with the shell of their pickup truck as the only thing left standing; the devastation is terrible.

Thankfully, the Gibsons are starting over with the assistance of their insurance company but it will certainly be a long haul back and CLS wants to support them in the journey.  To help get the cleanup process underway, a number of CLS employees will be helping Sheila and her family this Saturday at 7:00 a.m. – we’ll be bringing our shovels, rakes, hoes, wheelbarrows, buckets, and other equipment to start clearing out the debris.

CLS would like to say thank you to everyone who has offered such great support of Sheila and Chuck as they begin the journey of rebuilding!!
